Before and After: Coffee Table
I found this coffee table about 5 years ago at this little small Antique shop in downtown Benton in Arkansas. We lived there at the time and I squealed with delight as it was only $50. We took it out to the farm and transformed it. Staining the top a nice dark stain and painting the base a beautiful teal/turquoise color with a stained glaze distressed finish on top. We then sealed it with a couple of coats of polyurethane. We have used it every since, and I’m not sure I’d part with it. To be honest, I don’t remember the exact colors we used but it’s still a precious piece.
